Gas and Heat SpA in recent days sold its 10 percent stake to Higas, thus exiting the corporate structure created in 2015 by Gas and Heat itself and CPL Concordia.

As stated by the CEO, Eng. Claudio Evangelisti "After having started the operation of the first LNG coastal storage facility built in Italy, we consider our mission within Higas terminated Our company has 30 years of experience in the design and construction of tanks and plants for the management of liquefied gases at cryogenic temperatures, such as liquefied natural gas in land and marine environments. Special thanks to all those who have actively contributed to its authorization and implementation without neglecting local, regional and central authorities. In particular, thanks to the Ministry of Economic Development, which issued the single permit for the realization of this strategic infrastructure in less than 12 months.

We also sustained very tight pace in its implementation, despite the difficulties induced by the global pandemic.

The planned and built infrastructure is a modular plant, the design of which has been patented by Gas and Heat and represents a best practice that can be replicated quickly and is ready to meet the needs of today's energy scenario in Italy and Europe."
