ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SOURCES

Energy sources:
there is an alternative.

Our world's resources are not inexhaustible: our desire to preserve them is.
Everything we do is inspired by the goal of optimizing available energy sources
as much as possible; we direct all our manufacturing and investment choices towards alternative fuels and at low or zero environmental impact. More specifically, Gas and Heat's choices are aimed at the construction and distribution of systems using alternative fuels for marine sector decarbonization.

In particular, Gas and Heat's choices are aimed at the construction and deployment of systems using alternative fuels to decarbonize the marine sector.

LNG and BIOGNL

At this point, Liquefied natural gas is now a concrete reality, a fundamental resource for energy management in society today. These days, the technology for its deployment and its infrastructure are mature and long established. LNG is a safe, easy-to-transport fuel, currently representing one of the best low environmental impact energy vectors on the market for civil, industrial and heavy road transport providers. LNG is the bedrock on which Gas and Heat's experience is based. Despite the company's proven knowledge, Gas and Heat continues to further it and research to provide products that are ever competitive, as well as in line with the needs and demands of the market. Gas and Heat is in constant pursuit of environmental sustainability and seeks to include not only LNG but also BIO-LNG in its new projects; the company puts itself forward as promoter for implementing a BIO-LNG production chain offered to its customers with a view to decarbonizing the maritime sector.

Hydrogen

If LNG stands representative of progress in a more eco-friendly vein as an already tested gas, then hydrogen represents the future of the field of alternative fuels.
We're talking about a gas present in nature, not only that, but the most abundant in the entire universe, the first and lightest element in the periodic table.

Hydrogen does not emit CO2 or pollutants; it can be produced by renewables and stored safely and conveniently.

Ammonia

On the road towards a carbon-free future, ammonia represents a path already embarked upon decades ago, if not then capitalized on. Today, ammonia as a fuel promises to be one of the pivotal solutions in tackling environmental issues; as it is not made up of carbon atoms, burning it does not release carbon dioxide. The most important challenge in using this fuel is safety; Gas and Heat, through its expertise and aptitudes, is researching and putting forward simple, concrete solutions for its use. Working alongside certification classes and universities, we are exploring this fuel's potential. From the materials up to their management system, Gas and Heat focuses its activities on providing solutions that are always up-to-date.
