Position: Supply Manager - Static Equipment / Rotating Equipment / Packages
Gas and Heat, an Italian company specializing in the design and supply of LNG and industrial gas transportation and storage facilities, is looking for a Supply Manager with experience in the technical management of static, rotating and package equipment in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) field.

Role Description:
Gas and Heat is looking for a Supply Manager with proven experience in the technical management of mechanical equipment (Static Equipment, Rotating Equipment, Packages) within EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects, preferably in the Oil & Gas and LNG sector.
The figure will be the main technical reference for preparing technical specifications and coordinating the interface between detailed engineering and procurement, without dealing directly with the commercial/purchasing side.
Main responsibilities:
- Prepare material requisition, data sheets, technical specifications, and inspection sheets for static, rotating, and package mechanical equipment
- Performtechnical analysis of bids and prepare related evaluation reports
- Coordinate engineering activities related to mechanical equipment in assigned projects, ensuring compliance with technical and contractual requirements
- Manage the collection, verification and validation of basic technical data for project execution
- Draft, issue, and update technical documentation related to mechanical supplies (e.g., technical tabulations, supplier audits, documentary comments, technical follow-up)
- Work with the Purchasing Department on technical alignment and evaluation of vendor bids
- Plan and update documentation and activities related to rotating equipment
- Interface with the customer to discuss and resolve technical issues
- Work in synergy with other engineering disciplines to verify technical interfaces between components
- Manage technical follow-up of suppliers, including document reviews, management of complaints and any technical nonconformities
Requirements:
Ability to independently manage job orders and orientation toward solving complex technical problems
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
At least 5 years of experience in similar role, preferably as Rotating Machinery Engineer or similar
Solid experience in the design and technical management of machinery and mechanical equipment in the industrial, plant engineering, or marine fields
Prior experience in the oil & gas industry, preferably in EPC settings
Excellent knowledge of international standards (API, ASME, PED, etc.) for rotating and static mechanical equipment
Familiarity with P&ID schemes and detailed engineering software tools
Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken), particularly for technical writing and correspondence with international suppliers
