The first welding qualifications of carbon-manganese steel and, as a result, the possibility of having an ideal material to build tanks capable of transporting liquid CO2 by sea, represent a major achievement achieved by the partnership between voestalpine steelmaker Grobblech, a benchmark in heavy plate product innovation, and Gas and Heat, an Italian company led by the Evangelisti family, dedicated to the design and construction of tanks for the transport and storage of liquefied gas and known for its expertise and constant drive to take on new industry challenges.
